The European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2022. After two years in the online format, the EHFG is coming back to Gastein and the Salzburg mountain landscape with a hybrid conference and on-site presence. From 27th to 29th September, under the title “A Moonshot for a True European Health Union: If not now, when?”, the EHFG will again bring together politicians and experts from the public and private sectors, academia and civil society to discuss health in all policy areas and to jointly shape the European Health Agenda.
This year, Lisa Lehner will also participate in the event as part of the “Young Gasteiners“, a network of young health professionals who can participate in the EHFG through their scholarship and have access to special workshops, webinars and conferences. Lisa, who was selected for one of a few Young Forum Gastein (YFG) Scholarships, joins this year’s cohort of young experts as well as the YFG alumni network. As part of her scholarship, she will participate in kick-off and pre-conference events, be involved in organisational activities around the EHFG, have the opportunity to talk to other health professionals and engage in discussions on health policy in Europe. Most importantly, she will represent the Centre for Public Health, in particular the Community Health Lab and the CANCERLESS project for which she is currently implementing the Health Navigator model, as well as her work at AmberMed Vienna and her PhD project on Hepatitis C Health and Social Policy in Austria.
