A new edition of the Public Health Textbook “Public Health: Gesundheit und Gesundheitswesen” has been published by Elsavier. This comprehensive textbook covers all the basic important aspects of public health with a special focus on issues pertaining to German speaking parts of Europe and with cooperation from authors from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Our Group was represented by Igor who co-authored a chapter (with A. Rieder and G. Haidinger) on public health education in Austria. Book is primarily aimed at German speaking students of medicine, public health, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and other health sciences, as well as for all people who want to gain more insights and knowledge on various public health topics.
