Igor Grabovac was awarded second place at the inaugural Leadership Excellence in Research Awards (LExA). For this first time this year the Career Centre of the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft has established and awarded the LExA Awards to recognize outstanding leadership skills that make significant contribution in solving societal challenges and serves as role models for early career researchers. Igor was presented the prize by the Federal Minister of Education, Science and Reseach Prof. Martin Polaschek.
Igor was among 45 team leders that were nominated by their teams and was honored due to his “comitment to emphatic leadership and promotion of diversity and inclusion as sources of enrichment“.
