CO-CAPTAIN First Consortium Meeting in Vienna

Our new exciting project CO-CAPTAIN – Cancer Prevention among Individuals with Mental Ill-Health: Co-adapting and Implementing Patient Navigation for Primary Cancer Prevention is on the way and last month the members of the Consortium met in Vienna to kick off the projects. During the two days in Vienna, representatives of eleven partners in the Consortium discussed the overall project, its implementation and actions as well as development of a management strategy and communication plan. Also the Partners discussed activities within the co-desiging work package under the leadership of Medical University of Vienna, which include individual in-depth interviews with various stakeholders and co-desiging workshops. “It was a terrific kick off in a friendly and team oriented atmosphere, which is exactly what makes working in EU funded projects exciting!” – said Igor Grabovac the project´s principal investigator and Consortium coordinator.
