Our colleague Sabina Pfluger attended the Early Career Researchers Network Meeting in Amsterdam on September 23, 2025.
The event, organized as part of the COST Action CUPID project, brought together early-stage researchers with an interest in cancer prevention and intellectual disabilities.
Sabina took part in a workshop designed not only to provide training but also to foster connections and build a strong professional network in the field. Engaging with colleagues from diverse healthcare professions, she had the opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss different approaches, and share experiences as an early-stage researcher — an experience she found truly empowering.
The training sessions offered valuable insights into best practices in scientific writing and publishing, policy impact, and funding pathways.
Sabina left the event feeling inspired and grateful to be part of the CUPID Early Career Researchers Network.
