At the 23th Ostseesymposium Onkologie & 8zj Pflegefachtag in Rostock organised by University Clinics Rostock, Igor held a key note lecture entitled: Cancer Prevention in Vulnerable Groups: Experience from Two Large European Projects. Drawing on experience from CANCERLESS and CO-CAPTAIN Project, Igor showcased not only the effectiveness of navigation models to improve access to preventive services and reduce cancer risk behaviours but also drew attention to the larger issues of health equity and justice. Moreover, the lecture noted the power of self-determination and co-designing approaches.
