The project ListenIn was recognized at this year’s OIS zam Forum organized by the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft – Open Innovation in Science Center.
ListenIn focuses on people with lived experience of cancer who are also in precarious life situations – such as lacking stable housing, social insurance, or secure residency status. The project aims to identify and analyze barriers in healthcare access experienced by these communities, using participatory research methods and working together with co-researchers from the affected groups.
At the OIS zam Forum, numerous community-driven projects were presented in workshops and poster sessions. ListenIn was among the three highest-rated projects, as selected by the participants.
The project is co-led by Igor Grabovac, Cornelia Feichtinger and Lisa Lehner in cooperation with FH Campus Wien, aks Gesundheit GmbH, Gesundheit Österreich GmbH, and AmberMed.
