Igor promoted to Deputy Head of Department

We are happy to report that with 01 of June 2026 the Rectorate of the Medical University of Vienna confirmed our very own Igor Grabovac as a Deputy Head of the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. With more than 50 employees, including academic and administrative staff, the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine is the largest department of the Centre for Public Health of the Medical University of Vienna. In this new role, Igor will be actively supporting the Deparment Head in management duties, contribute to the strategic development of Department`s research, teaching and public health activities and support the workforce development with a special focus on the development of the Public Health Residency training program.
