Igor was featured in the “Hörgang“- Podcast organised by the Medical University of Vienna and Springer Publishing Austria. In an episode called “Ungesehen und unversorgt – wenn Medizin Menschen vergisst” (“Unseen and uncared – people that medicine forgot”) Igor spoke about his personal experiences that led him to working in social medicine, as well as his work with people experiencing homelessness (the CANCERLESS project) and the LGBTIQ community. In the podcast, Igor points out that systemic change is necessary and to achieve this a wide array of stakeholders must be included – including people with personal lived experience.
